Our Blog - Writing Help and Grammar Tips

When talking to students, most often they will recognise that they might struggle with a particular aspect of writing. Most often they'll say things like "my grammar sucks" or "my instructor just doesn't like my writing style" or "my teacher just wants me to repeat from class."

It is a truth universally acknowledged that writing is stressful. It doesn't matter if you are a novelist, a blogger, or a student who has to write essays for school. Writing causes all kinds of anxiety. This writing tension is even worse when it is added to the pressure students feel to perform well, be it for school assignments or external exams. Then it's not just the anxiety about how many readers you might get for a blog or hits on social media, but actually your whole future prospects from further school to getting a good job.

If you’ve clicked on this blog thinking it will lead you to the silver bullet for relieving essay writing anxiety then you may be a little disappointed. What I can offer you is some advice on what generally works for most people, and has worked for me on many occasions, in school, university (when I bothered), and in the workplace.

Our cofounders were recently in Singapore, and they were featured on the Asia Tech Podcast talking about not only EssayJack as an English for Academic Purposes solution that can help students and educators the world over when it comes to teaching and learning EAP, but also what it takes to start a business.

As a result of this podcast, we were nominated for a Best Startup in Asia Award!  You can vote for us here: http://www.pitchdeck.asia/voting. Please take a moment and do so. Every vote matters.
